Upcoming: Phoenix Square Project

Time for Change Foundation is proud to announce its three-phase plan, the Phoenix Square Project. Scheduled to open in October of 2012, this undertaking involves providing permanent housing for clients who have completed the transitional housing services and are ready to move and live healthy, independent lives.

Phase one began with the purchase of a seven-unit apartment building. Remodeling efforts have been made to provide energy efficient standards, allowing TFCF to” go green.”

Phase two will involve the creation of community gardens as entrepreneurial options for residents who may want to grow organic fruits and vegetables to sell at farmers’ markets. An additional feature will include the opportunity to provide a wonderful environment to bring seniors and elementary school children for special projects, such as Earth Day.

Finally, the last and third phase will be to build a community center adjacent to the apartment building and garden that will be of help to the community, providing a location for educational classes and meetings, as well as space for clients to manage their respective businesses. There are also plans to create a solar paneled parking structure to accommodate the center and create reusable energy.
