Time for Change Foundation to Honor Academy Award®-Nominated Producer Chiara Tilesi with Women’s Global Icon Award

SAN BERNARDINO, CA – February 27, 2025 – Time for Change Foundation (TFCF) proudly announces that acclaimed Italian producer, director, and women’s advocate Chiara Tilesi will receive the prestigious Women’s Global Icon Award at its 23rd Annual Awards Gala, “Unwavering: Igniting Change, Inspiring Hope.” The celebration will honor Tilesi’s extraordinary contributions to advancing women and minorities in film and her unwavering commitment to social transformation through media.

Tilesi is the founder of We Do It Together (WDIT), a non-profit film production company dedicated to the advancement of women and minorities in the entertainment industry. She produced the 2023 Academy Award®-nominated film “Tell It Like a Woman,” which features seven segments directed by internationally renowned women filmmakers and stars including Cara Delevingne, Marcia Gay Harden, Jennifer Hudson, and Eva Longoria.

“Chiara Tilesi embodies the very essence of our gala theme – her dedication to igniting change and inspiring hope for women around the world has been transformative,” said Vanessa Perez, Executive Director of Time for Change Foundation. “Her groundbreaking work has created platforms for women’s voices to be heard and has challenged industry norms that have historically marginalized female creators. We are honored to recognize her visionary leadership with our Women’s Global Icon Award.”

Recognized as a Cultural Leader at the 2019 World Economic Forum, Tilesi has shared her insights at prestigious global institutions including TEDx Women and the United Nations. Her production company, Frequency Production, established in 2018, focuses on creating media that fosters positive societal impact

In 2023, Tilesi presented WDIT at the United Nations General Assembly, inaugurating women’s month with a screening of “Tell It Like a Woman” in collaboration with UN Women and several international government missions. Her powerful “I AM” campaign, launched in 2024 at the NASDAQ Tower in Times Square, and illuminated the historical Trevi Foundation in Rome, Italy during Women’s History Month. Chiara continues to remind us the women are the subject not the object and we can change the narrative when WE DO IT TOGETHER.
