Sharon Fennix is a Case Manager at A Time for Change Foundation’s Northern California emergency shelter, Brighter Futures. In April of 2017, Sharon was released from prison after serving 35 years. Sharon studied at Feather River College where she achieved her AA Degree in Behavioral Science, and a Degree in Business Entrepreneurship. Sharon is a registered AOD Counselor (CAAP), trained in 12-step education, Relapse Prevention, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, and is an advanced facilitator trainer. Sharon believes each one can reach one, and no one is beyond change. With over twenty years of experience working with trauma informed individuals, she is dedicated to serving the homeless and mental health community. Sharon has a real passion for helping young women re-build their lives assuring them they have a chance at living a productive life.
