Tawna Whitfield came to Time for Change Foundation in 2019 as our Civic Engagement Specialist. Overcoming hurdles of homelessness and obtaining stable housing and employment, Tawna relates first-hand to the community and uses her experiences to lead people to engage in solutions. With many years of experience with community engagement, she has a strong passion to help decrease barriers for formerly incarcerated women and increase access to housing and economic mobility. She is highly adaptable to relating to the needs of the community, which makes her passionate about the work she does at Time for Change Foundation.
