Vandrick Towns is a highly qualified and experienced professional with a career in social justice and community advocacy spanning over twenty years. He holds several certifications in addiction counseling and relapse prevention and serves on the board of directors for organizations that address systems impact on people struggling with homelessness, addiction, violence, and mental health symptoms.

Vandrick’s personal experience and observation have given him the opportunity to advocate for the formerly incarcerated population on a state and national level. He has worked in leadership roles directing substance use disorder and mental health treatment programs and has been instrumental in establishing and developing victim impact programs, gang prevention and intervention programs, and inclusive impact strategy.

In addition to his work in social justice, Vandrick is also the founder of V Towns Consulting LLC, where he provides instruction for Bay Area Community Resources (BACR), We’re Here Nonprofit, and Our Road Prison Project. He is an experienced trainer, community organizer, and committed client-centered advocate and clinician, with a strong commitment to social justice and extensive experience working with diverse stakeholders to effect positive change.
